Foundation Focus
As the new school year starts, now is a great time to remember the Delta Gamma Foundation! Service for Sight has been at the heart of Delta Gamma’s philanthropic mission since 1936. Did you know that in addition to the many ways our Foundation supports the visually impaired, there are four schools begun by Delta Gammas for children who are blind or visually impaired.
How can we help? Boxtops for Education and Campbell’s Soup Labels!!!
Last year, our soup labels and box tops benefited the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired in Kansas City and the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments in St. Louis. Let’s start now and make this our biggest soup label/boxtop year ever!
I (Paige) will be collecting both at all meetings, starting in September. Can’t make it to a meeting but want to send your boxtops or soup labels…use the envelope enclosed with your snail mail newsletter and Melissa, our treasurer, will collect them to give to me or send them to me directly: Paige Hyatt, 2623 Aurelia Place, Ft. Other Foundation news: Carla Cordoba, our Regional Alumnae Specialist, made a donation to the Foundation on our behalf for being a “5 Star Programming Chapter,” and we were honored at Convention for our chapter’s donation to the Foundation…We Did Great!!! Thank you for making the Delta Gamma Foundation a continuing part of your wonderful DG life!!
